Oilframe is responsible for the personal data described here. To ask about it, get a copy, correct it or have it deleted, contact us using the support details on your Stripe receipt. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
What we collect, and why
- Your account: your email address, optional name and a scrambled (hashed) form of your password, so you can sign in and re-download what you bought.
- Orders: what you bought, the price and currency, and Stripe’s payment reference, to deliver your files and keep the records the law requires. Card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
- Sign-ins and downloads: the IP address and browser type of each session and download, to keep accounts secure and stop files being shared.
- The free wallpaper: the email address you give, to send or show your download link. We only send you news if you separately tick the box asking for it, and you can withdraw that at any time by contacting us.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel — hosts the website.
- Supabase — stores the database, in London.
- Cloudflare — stores the image files.
- Stripe — takes payments.
- Resend — sends email, when email is switched on.
Some of these companies may handle data outside the UK, under the safeguards UK law requires. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Account and download records are kept while your account is open. Order records are kept for six years, as UK tax law requires, even if you close your account. Free-wallpaper links expire after 30 days; the email address you gave for one is kept until you ask us to delete it.
Cookies and storage
We use one cookie, to keep you signed in; it lasts up to 30 days. Your bag is kept in your own browser’s storage and is not sent to us until you check out. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
